I’m Sadiyah, a Portland-based food photographer, recipe creator, and lover of all things cozy, colorful, and crave-worthy. I specialize in bright, clean, editorial-style food photography that feels like it could live on your favorite blog or in the pages of a seasonal cookbook.
I work with food brands, bloggers, and publications who want more than just “pretty pictures.” With every project, my goal is to make your audience feel like they can taste the food through the screen. I blend relatability with an editorial edge, so the end result looks beautiful but still approachable, like something they could make in their own kitchen.
Our Process – From Concept to Delivery
Inquiry & Discovery
I begin by learning about your project’s goals and vision through a discovery call where we will discuss style, creative needs, and brand personality. We will also go over details about the audience, platforms, and desired project outcomes.
Creative Direction
I will create and send over a custom Creative Blueprint featuring moodboards, color palettes, prop previews, and a detailed shot list for review to ensure everything feels aligned before production begins.
Production
I will source and style ingredients, props, and backdrops to match the approved creative direction. Each scene is staged and photographed or filmed in the studio.
Editing & Delivery
Final images and/or videos are edited, color-corrected, and optimized for the intended platforms. I will deliver assets in clearly organized folders that are ready to post, along with a simple guide for making the most of each piece.
Ongoing Support
For brands seeking consistent, seasonal, or campaign-based visuals, I offer quarterly or monthly retainers to keep content fresh and on-brand.
